1. About Cleenki and these terms
Cleenki AB ("Cleenki", "we", "us") provides a digital marketplace via the Cleenki mobile app that connects customers with independent cleaners. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms of service. Please read them carefully.
Cleenki is a marketplace, not a cleaning company. We do not employ the cleaners — they are independent contractors who are responsible for their own business.
2. Accounts and eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- You are responsible for ensuring that the information in your account is accurate and up to date.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs through your account and must keep your login credentials confidential.
- An account may not be transferred to another person.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
3. The service for customers
Booking: Customers book cleaning services via the app. A booking is binding once you receive a booking confirmation.
Pricing and payment: Prices are stated inclusive of VAT. Payment is made via the app. The RUT deduction is applied automatically for eligible services and customers. We reserve the right to change prices with 14 days' notice.
Cancellation: Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the booked time. Cancellations within 48 hours will incur a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the booking value. Failure to show without cancellation will result in the full charge being applied.
Complaints: If you are unsatisfied with the service, contact us via the app within 24 hours of the completed cleaning. We investigate each case individually and, where applicable, offer compensation or a re-clean.
4. The service for cleaners
Registration: Cleaners go through an application process that includes identity verification, a background check and an approval interview. Cleenki reserves the right to reject applications without giving a reason.
Independent status: Cleaners are independent contractors, not employees of Cleenki. You are personally responsible for taxes, fees and insurance related to your business.
Performance: You commit to completing booked assignments professionally, on time and in accordance with the customer's instructions. You are responsible for any damage you cause.
Platform fee: Cleenki charges a platform fee on each completed booking. The current fee is shown in the app.
Cancellation: Unnecessary cancellation of confirmed assignments may result in a warning or suspension from the platform.
5. Prohibited use
It is prohibited to:
- Conduct transactions outside the Cleenki platform with customers or cleaners you have met through the service (so-called "circumvention").
- Post false information, reviews or ratings.
- Harass, threaten or discriminate against other users.
- Use the service for illegal purposes.
- Attempt to hack, manipulate or disrupt the platform's function.
- Share your account with another person.
Violations of these rules may result in immediate suspension and possible legal action.
6. Intellectual property
All content on Cleenki — logo, design, text, code and functionality — is owned by Cleenki AB and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce or use this content without written permission.
7. Limitation of liability
Cleenki is a marketplace and is not responsible for:
- The cleaner's performance or any damage caused by the cleaner.
- Service availability — we cannot guarantee that the app is always available.
- Indirect damages, loss of profit or loss of data.
Cleenki's total liability to an individual user is limited to the amount the user has paid for the booking in question.
8. Dispute resolution and applicable law
These terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes shall in the first instance be resolved through negotiation. If we cannot reach a resolution, you may turn to the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN). As a final instance, the Stockholm District Court has jurisdiction.
9. Changes to the terms
We reserve the right to change these terms. For significant changes, we will notify you by email or notice in the app at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
